Leaders Fulham could move on after the Cottagers took an early 1-0 lead against visitors Arsenal at Craven Cottage.

Although Mikel Arteta’s Gunners dominated possession early on, it was Marco Silva’s men who opened the scoring in the 11th minute thanks to Raúl Jiménez.

Not to take away from his pinpoint shot, it was only the second touch of the ball in Arsenal’s half of the pitch that really made something out of nothing.

As for Jiménez, the Mexican international is going from strength to strength along the Thames, already recording his seventh G/A this season, equaling his total contribution from last season.

Furthermore, Jiménez’s early goal was once again the game’s opener.

Nobody knows better than him how to make the Cottagers work.
