📊 Chris Wood bags again as the magical forest run continues

Nuno Espírito Santo’s star-studded side Nottingham Forest are on course for the start of their dreams tonight as they take on leaders Liverpool at the City Ground.

It was none other than opener Chris Wood who gave Forest the early lead against the Reds, calmly converting past Alisson after Anthony Elanga scored his final third run.

This gave Wood his best goalscoring figures of the season as he led Nuno’s side, scoring his 13th Premier League goal of the season in 21 appearances.

The experienced centre-forward has also achieved the feat of scoring against every single Premier League team he has faced twice or more.

Now he is just one goal away from equaling his best goal tally to date in the English top flight. His goal enabled Forest to score their first goal in a game for the 17th time in the league season, four more than any other team.

A dream return to Europe is certainly in sight.
