Police say 10 people were injured in a mass shooting on New Year’s Day in New York City when a group of men opened fire on a crowd of people standing outside a nightclub in Queens.

According to reports from ABC7, Fox5 and other media outlets, the nightclub is called Amazura.

New York police were dispatched to the venue on 144th Place at 11:18 p.m. Thursday after receiving multiple 911 calls about the attack, NYPD Patrol Chief Philip Rivera told reporters. While Rivera said the shooting was not a terrorist attack, he told reporters that investigators are investigating whether it was a gang attack.

All victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Rivera said.
