The final countdown for 2024 is here! It’s time to take a look at which TV shows will premiere on Paramount Plus in December. Honestly, our list is pretty short. This time we only have two television shows from very different genres to discuss.

While one is light-hearted, uplifting and inspiring, the other tells the beginning of an 8-season story that is anything but pleasant, but perhaps some can argue that it is justified. Let’s get started!

At the top of our list are the documentaries as1one: The Israeli-Palestinian pop music journey Premieres December 3rd. For those who don’t know, as1one is the world’s first Israeli and Palestinian pop group, consisting of six members: Nadav Philips, Niv Lin, Aseel Farah, Ohad Attia, Sadik Dogosh and Neta Rozenblat.

The docuseries chronicles their bond and shared passion for music, their rise to stardom, and the unfortunate obstacles they face due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. These wholesome and heartfelt documentaries might be just what the world needs in times like these.

If you’re looking for something positive and uplifting to watch this holiday season before the new year begins, we highly recommend you as1one: The Israeli-Palestinian pop music journey.

Child in a candy store

It’s hard to believe that a show that aired almost 20 years ago still has a loyal fan base. Dexterwhich starred Michael C. Hall, had a unique take on serial killers as he killed murderers who managed to avoid punishment. So maybe an antihero? It must be admitted that they are among the more complex and layered characters in any work of fiction.

It probably helped that Dexter was a forensic technician for the Miami Metro Police Department. Dexter had 8 seasons and almost 100 episodes that managed to establish itself in pop media culture for years.

Now it seems that Dexter’s story is far from over, but is just beginning in the spin-off of the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin. The premiere takes place on December 13th and the cast includes Hall as the narrator and Patrick Gibson will take on the role of Dexter. This is surely a perfect gift for both Dexter Fans and newcomers, airing during the holiday season.
