Thomas managed another great round on Saturday, a six-under 66, to take the lead in the Hero World Challenge. Should he hold on for victory, it would be his first win since the 2022 PGA Championship.

However, world number 1 Scottie Scheffler is lurking just a shot behind and will be aiming to overtake Thomas on Sunday to defend his title at the Hero.
