2024 PNC Championship live updates: Leaderboards, results, Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods and his son Charlie Woods are among the 20 two-man teams in the 2024 PNC Championship.

Each team consists of a major champion or Players Championship winner who is assisted by a family member, be it a son, daughter, stepson, grandson or whatever.

Tiger and Charlie have yet to win the event at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Course in Orlando in four tries.

Start times for the 2024 PNC Championship

The fun begins Saturday at 9 a.m. with the first tee: Lee Trevino and Daniel Trevino and Nick Price and Greg Price. Tiger and Charlie are in the second to last foursome.

Tiger Woods’ daughter Sam is his caddy

A year ago, Tiger Woods had his daughter Sam as a caddie for the first time during the 2023 PNC Championship. Along with his father, Sam was already in the public eye when he introduced Woods at his induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame. But this was the first time she’d been in the bag, meaning it was a family affair on a rainy Saturday in Central Florida.

“Sam was fantastic,” Tiger said last year. “This is the first time she’s done this, so it couldn’t have been more special for all of us.”

Guess who he has this time? Same caddy.

Sam Woods meets Nelly Korda

Common politeness gets you far in this world. When the world’s best golfer met Tiger Woods’ daughter Sam on the practice range this morning, she didn’t assume the 17-year-old knew who she was.

Team Woods is off to a hot start

Tiger and Charlie got off to an early start on Saturday, posting birdies on their first three holes of the day. In a format where you have to go deep to compete, Team Woods does just that.

Will McGee and his mother Annika Sorenstam are on a roll. Will has made plenty of putts throughout so far, including this beauty for his seventh straight birdie.

Tiger Woods almost hits one off the fairway

Woods’ game has looked pretty solid so far at the PNC Championship. He deviates from the right side on the downswing and has hit several good shots. But this one might be the best one yet. What a shot!

Charlie Woods looks a lot like Tiger Woods on the golf course

Charlie’s putter was hot on Saturday at the PNC Championship and he made that putt to get to 8 under through 12 holes. He brought this thing in, just like his father does.
