2025 NFL Draft order: Patriots’ No. 4 pick after Week 18 win was originally picked on NBC Sports Boston

Just when New England Patriots fans thought their team’s 2024 NFL season couldn’t get any worse, the franchise missed a golden opportunity to get the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft by drafting the Buffalo Bills in Week 18 on Sunday afternoon won the game at Gillette Stadium 23-16.

The Patriots entered the regular season finale with a record of 3-13 and needed a loss to secure the No. 1 seed. But because of their win over the Bills, combined with losses to the Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans and New York Giants, the Patriots have slipped to the No. 4 overall pick in the upcoming draft. The Tennessee Titans will be the No. 1 seed.

The Patriots will likely be one of several teams to finish with a 4-13 record, but their inferior schedule rating gives them the tiebreaker for the better pick.

New England is picked in the top four in consecutive years for the first time since 1993 (Drew Bledsoe, No. 1) and 1994 (Willie McGinest, No. 4).

Here are the complete top 10 draft orders after Sunday’s early afternoon window.
