Is Tilted Towers in Fortnite OG?

Tilted Towers is a location from Chapter 1 that was loved by the Fortnite community. As the hot-drop haven of the first few seasons, you could always count on the mountain of loot found in the high-rises of the POI Titled Tower. Players remember the epic firefights that erupted in the streets of Tilted Towers, often drawing the attention of other fighters nearby.

Despite its popularity, Tilted Towers didn’t stay in Fortnite forever. With the return of Chapter 1: Season 1, we still haven’t returned to the nostalgic city. Tilted Towers is not currently included in Fortnite OG and will likely not return until Chapter 1: Season 2, which is expected to release in February. However, Tilted Towers could return to the Chapter 6 map during Season 1, as it did in previous Fortnite chapters.

There are over a dozen POIs in Fortnite OG, so the action-packed combat never stops. Deciding where to hot-drop in Fortnite is a challenge, but we’ll show you the best landing spots on the nostalgic island.

Wailing forest

Fortnite Wailing Woods in Creative Mode

Fortnite Creative Mode

Wailing Woods is a hedge maze surrounded by trees, so you have plenty of cover to hide from enemies. The trees are resources that allow you to collect excessive amounts of wood at the start of a game. There aren’t many chests here, nor many houses nearby, but the remoteness of Wailing Woods allows you to gather materials before jumping straight into battle. Even if you’re not a builder at heart, it never hurts to have more materials to create a cover.

Lonely Lodge is very similar to Wailing Woods in that it only has a small collection of chests and is isolated near a forest. Since the two forested POIs are close to each other, you can send two players to Wailing Woods while sending the others to Lonely Lodge. This strategy allows your squad to land in non-vulnerable locations while collecting enough loot for everyone.

Salty springs

Fortnite Salty Springs in Creative Mode

Fortnite Creative Mode

Salty Springs is located in the middle of the Fortnite island and will therefore be one of the best hot drop locations this OG season. There are many houses to loot in Salty Springs, each with a few weapons and chests.

If you want to get into a fight early in a game, you’ll need to stop by Salty Springs to have the greatest chance of a kill. However, beware of competitive players as other competitors have the same idea when it comes to hot drops at this OG POI.

Greasy Grove

Fortnite Creative Mode

Greasy Grove is a fun place. This fast food restaurant offers many amenities, including a large supply of loot and tons of other hot droppers. Although not as popular as Salty Springs, Greasy Grove is less secluded than Wailing Woods and offers the perfect middle ground.

Greasy Grove isn’t the largest location in Fortnite OG, but it is quite large and has several houses to explore. Everyone remembers the hilarious burger mascot, so Greasy Grove is a fan favorite for nostalgia alone. There’s lots of loot. Tomato Town is a counterpart with many similarities and is also worth a stop if you want to stop by in a semi-populated area where there aren’t too many players.

Booty Lake

Fortnite Loot Lake in Creative Mode

Fortnite Creative Mode

Loot Lake is the only major location in Fortnite OG with a significant body of water. The house is the main attraction on the lake and sits above the water. There is also a dock and a building nearby that is often empty, as players usually prioritize landing in the comfort of their home. If you miss the water days of Chapter 2: Remix, then Loot Lake is a great drop spot.

If you want to surprise an enemy, Loot Lake is also an ideal sight. There is a mineshaft-like structure underneath the Loot Lake house. You can get weapons from inside the mineshaft and then go up to the main house. If you sneak, you can ambush unsuspecting enemies.

Pleasant park

Fortnite Pleasant Park in Creative Mode

Fortnite Creative Mode

Pleasant Park is one of the largest locations in the current version of Fortnite OG and features over five houses. If you play in squads, this POI is perfect. In places like Wailing Woods there just isn’t enough loot for every player on a four-person team, so you’ll have to stop by Greasy Grove or Pleasant Park to get enough fun weapons.

Pleasant Park also features plenty of scenery that can serve as cover, which is important in zero-build mode. Another factor that makes Pleasant Park so great is that it has always been present on the map throughout Fortnite history, so most players will be familiar with the layout and provide an easier way to start your next Fortnite OG game master.
