What did he say about Georgia?

Terry has always felt at home in Georgia. That didn’t even change when he committed to USC. Terry spoke highly of Georgia at every opportunity.

They also made him feel like family. These two quotes immediately stand out among his many recorded thoughts about the Bulldogs.

“They’re at the top, I’m not going to lie. Alabama, Georgia and Florida State are the ones that are bothering me the most right now and are at the top.” August 6th

“What makes them different is that it’s their home,” Terry said. “You know, the distance. It’s just my home state. I mean, I’ve wanted to play for them since I was a kid. And it just so happens that I’ve always been a hometown person, and I think that’s what sets it apart from almost everyone else. Every school is a good school. Every school has certain things. It just depends on who you want to be trained by. The Georgia coaching staff is a great coaching staff.” June 7.

Big picture

Georgia has already acquired five-star Elijah Griffin in the 2025 class. The Bulldogs will be looking for impact players in the trenches.

Terry would be one of them. Griffin can play three-technique and five-technique. Terry can also do a little bit of everything. He would likely step into the role that Mykel Williams will eventually vacate.

He and Griffin would give Georgia immediate impact and long-term impact potential, similar to Travon Walker and Jalen Carter and the heroes of yesteryear.

Terry is also considered one of the crown jewels of the 2025 class. Acquiring him was Georgia’s top priority this cycle.
