“I went to the doctor the other day, they told me that at 47 (years old) my brain was drastically reduced and was about the size of an 80/81 year old,” the patriarch told his children.

There was some positive news this season as other family members also celebrated major milestones, including Trent and Amber’s 25th wedding anniversary, Anna and Amber’s college graduation, and Emma and Alex’s high school graduation.

However, when Anna skips Emma and Alex’s graduation party, it causes “a lot of stress” within the family. Alex said he was “hurt” that she didn’t “show up.”

“Whatever I do certainly won’t be enough,” Anna said in a private confessional.

The trailer ended with Anna storming off and leaving in the middle of a family trip. “Trent and I will never give up on our children,” Amber told producers alongside her husband. “Always. But we won’t give in.”
