Bubba Wallace reveals the role of his wife Amanda, who was unable to attend the iRacing event

Bubba Wallace recently shared on his official social media account that he was unable to attend the iRacing event during the ongoing offseason break. The 23XI Racing driver shared an update

Racers are no strangers to online racing games like iRacing, and Wallace is no different. Although he was interested in attending the event, the obstacle came from his wife. The reason? Your newborn baby.

According to the NASCAR driver, Mrs. Wallace ordered Bubba to pack up his racing simulator and move it out of the room as soon as they found out she was pregnant. He shared the information on social media after a fan asked if he was interested in attending the iRacing event.

“Haha, that sounds fun. But when we announced that we were pregnant, our mistress said: pack up your stuff and take it away! The junk was my sim rig. Now he’s new to Becks,” he wrote. “How about next year? New crib almost ready.”

Bubba Wallace and his wife Amanda Wallace became parents on September 29 last year after the latter gave birth to a son named Becks Hayden. The newborn is the couple’s first child together.

Bubba and Amanda got engaged on July 30, 2021 after years of dating. They married a year and a half later on December 31, 2022.

In one of his interviews, the #23 driver spoke about adjusting to life with his newborn. This is what he said:

“The other day we went to brunch and my husband sat there passed out for the last hour and a half. We have a nice chat at the table and as soon as the food comes he’s wide awake and yells I want to feed and it’s like “Oh man, I’m sorry Mom, you have to wait to eat now.”

“It takes a little longer, I say add 15 minutes to what you were doing before – you’re going to be 15 minutes late,” he said. “You know, that’s fine. You have a damn good excuse.” “But it was all great, it was all fun. He’s healthy, mom’s healthy, so it’s good.”

In racing, Bubba Wallace signed a contract extension with 23XI Racing last year and will continue to drive the #23 Toyota Camry XSE for the team. He will compete in the Cup Series alongside teammates Tyler Reddick and Riley Herbst.
