The Lakers will retire Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Michael Cooper’s No. 21 jersey on Monday night when they resume play at Crypto.com Arena after the NBA postponed two games due to wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

Cooper will be honored throughout the game against the San Antonio Spurs. According to the team, his jersey will be raised into the rafters of the Crypto.com Arena arena and officially retired by the organization during an extended halftime.

The ceremony will feature a tribute video honoring his legacy and influence, as well as remarks.
