Jim Jones’ recent comments about Cam’ron and Ma$e led the duo to respond about theirs It is what it is Instagram page, with a recent post reminding followers of Jones’ previous praise for the “Feel So Good” rapper for teaching him “how to rap.”

The post, re-shared by @masetelevision, was shared to the podcast’s Instagram Stories on Thursday evening (January 9) and features several clips of the “Ballin'” artist acknowledging his fellow Harlemite as the MC who gave him the rap taught. However, it should be noted that in the fifth clip, Talib Kweli tries to credit Jones for giving Ma$e “his flowers,” but Jim responds, “I don’t give him flowers, f**k that ni**a.” This suggests that while Jones was able to acknowledge Ma$e’s role in his development, there were still unresolved issues between the two. This post followed several others shared on the podcast’s social media page after Jones told Justin Laboy in a recent interview that he “saw Ma$e sh*t on cam” during their now-resolved conflict. Jones also claimed that once the former Bad Boy signee started making decent money, he “lost his mind” and mistreated the people around him.

In response: It is what it is Shared clips of Cam and Ma$e along with the caption: “THERE’S NOT A BETTER FEELING WHEN YOU CAN LAUGH AT THE FACTS THEY HAVE MADE TOGETHER IN THE PAST. We are here now and have decided to push ourselves to the limit.”

While 50 Cent also responded to comments made about him and Cam during Jones’ interview, Jones has not done so direct reached out to one of the men since the question-and-answer session was posted. However, he re-shared a post from a staff member who claimed they saw Cam’ron allow Jim Jones to be attacked in Harlem by eight men from Brooklyn, which may partially explain much of the tension between the Dipset members.
