Sir Rod Stewart’s 80th birthday celebrations have come to an end after the musician gathered his extended family to celebrate in style with a luxury holiday in St Barts.

The singer enjoyed an all-expenses paid holiday on a $150 million superyacht traveling around the Caribbean with his wife Penny Lancaster, 53, and seven of his eight children.

And his son Alastair shared a series of sweet snaps with the family as he gushed about the “unforgettable” trip.

The whole gang posed for a smiling photo before making faces for a silly snap.

As the family joked around, Alastair captioned the post: “A time to remember, love you all.”

Last week, Rod, who reportedly rented the boat for $3 million, took advantage of the sunny climate by wearing a fedora hat and bright yellow shirt while topping up his tan on the speedboat ride to shore.

Penny arrived at the beach in a black sheer lace dress and white T-shirt, but soon took it off to show off her figure in a cheetah print swimsuit.

Ruby, whom Rod welcomed with ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg in 1987, slipped into a khaki bikini and wore a black hat and sunglasses. She is on vacation with her partner Jake Kalic.

During the beach day, Penny went swimming with her 19-year-old son Alastair and Adam Sumner, the partner of Rod’s daughter Renee, 32.

Rod has eight children over the age of 47 from five different mothers.

The pop singer and Penny married in 2007 and have sons Alastair and Aiden Patrick, 14.

Kimberly, 45, whose mother is Alana, shared snaps from the luxurious trip, including a picture of her daughter Delilah, 13, posing with Rod.

Her brother Sean, 44, is there along with his girlfriend Julia Stambler.

Also on board are 30-year-old Liam and his wife Nicole Artukovich, who is expecting their second child.

Rod is also father to 60-year-old daughter Sarah Streeter, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Susannah Boffey. Sarah did not appear to have accompanied them on the trip.

This came after Rod assured fans he was “not done yet” as he celebrated his 80th birthday on Instagram.

The legendary singer shared a sweet post on his Instagram Stories thanking his “loyal and vocal” supporters for their dedication throughout his 50-year career.

He wrote: “On my 80th birthday, may I take the opportunity to personally express my gratitude to all my loyal and vocal fans around the world who have helped me live such a wonderful life!”

“In return, I hope I have given you some unforgettable songs and lively concerts… I’m not done yet.” Sir Rod’.

Meanwhile, Penny paid tribute to her “darling” and posted a photo of the sun-kissed Maggie May hitmaker.

“Happy birthday my darling, I am so blessed to spend this day with all of our children.” We build more memories that we take with us into the future and that we carry in our hearts forever. “I love you.”

The luxury ship features a strong crew, including three chefs “who cater to all dietary needs and restrictions” as the famous family “hops across multiple islands in the Caribbean.”

“The holiday is costing Rod millions,” an insider told DailyMail.com. “He’s known to be a cheapskate, but not this time.” He flew everyone first class to Florida and told them they didn’t have to put their hands in their pockets for anything. He covers every one of your wishes.

“The reason for the trip is because Rod feels it’s time to bring his family together for his big birthday.” There have been fights between many of them over the years. The singer wants everything to be harmonious from now on.’

Rod is no stranger to holidaying with his family, having spent several days aboard a luxury 197ft yacht in Italy in the summer of 2022, costing £274,000 a week.

But insiders claim he wants to “go big” on his current celebratory adventure.

The Grammy Award winner chose the 288-foot-long ship, which has nine suites for guests as well as a beauty salon, gym, hammam, swimming pool and helipad.

“This trip meant so much to Rod,” a second source added. “The whole family came together and put any drama aside to truly have a bonding experience.”

“Being surrounded by so much love is priceless for Rod. In this case he wanted to make it big.
