Rio Ferdinand labels Chelsea star Cole Palmer “rude” and “out of order” after Bournemouth draw.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has branded Chelsea star Cole Palmer “rude” and “out of control” for his actions against Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

Goals from Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo canceled out Palmer’s early lead before Reece James fired home a free-kick claim a point too late.

Palmer’s goal was a typically cold finish Chelsea 22-year-old after Nicolas Jackson stormed towards the Bournemouth penalty area before passing a ball to the England international.

Palmer then did the rest, with the Chelsea playmaker firing a shot to bring down Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers before rolling the ball into the empty net.

Man Utd legend Ferdinand loved the finish but described Palmer as “outrageous” and “out of order” after his bold start.

Ferdinand continued TNT Sports: “It’s rude. It was rude. It’s out of order, it happens in the schoolyard. It’s rude, really outrageous.

“I will pay to watch him every day of the week because I know I will experience something like this that will knock me out of my chair and make me scream.”

His colleague Peter Crouch added: “It reminds me a little of Mesut Özil, the calm, it’s almost too casual, just puts the goalkeeper down.”

“The amount of people who put themselves in that position, filling the stadium and hurling it over the crossbar or into the goal, the ability of a young man to stop it, beat the goalkeeper down and roll it into the empty net, that’s it , which makes it special.” ”

Speaking about his team’s performance, Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca told the BBC: “I think in the first half we fully deserved to win the game.” We should have scored three goals. When we conceded a goal in the second half, we lost. We deserved to win the game because we created so many chances.

“The first half was one of the best periods of the season. We were aggressive and created chances. We’re a bit unlucky when it comes to scoring goals. We miss and then we concede. We have to move on. The bad thing, as I said, is that we fall after the penalty and there is no reason to do that.

“The game was completely in our hands and we have to improve it.

“I always have concerns, even when we win games. This is the Premier League. If you don’t create chances and score goals, you have to worry more.”
