Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is currently in recovery after undergoing surgery following a shocking break-in attempt at his Bandra home in which he sustained multiple injuries.
According to the latest report by IANS, the actor’s surgery took almost two and a half hours and he is “currently in the recovery room”.

Meanwhile, a note posted on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s fan page confirmed that the rest of the family, including Kareena and her two sons – Taimur and JehThey are doing “fine”.
“We request the media and fans to be patient and not speculate further as the police are already conducting the necessary investigation,” the actor’s representatives said in a statement.

According to reports, the break-in occurred at the actor’s residence in the early hours of Thursday morning. ANI states that around 2.30 am a man broke into the actor’s house following which a scuffle broke out between Saif and the intruder.
While other reports claimed that the actor sustained the injuries with a sharp object, a report on PTI confirmed that the actor was stabbed with a knife. “Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was injured after an intruder attacked him with a knife at his Mumbai apartment, police said on Thursday,” a post on PTI said.
In a report on TOI, treating doctors confirmed that his injuries were “not life-threatening”.
An FIR has been registered against the person while the Mumbai Crime Branch has launched a parallel investigation into the incident.
