Dr. Jalil Parkar of Lilavati Hospital told SCREEN that Saif was stabbed at his house in Bandra and was admitted to the hospital at 3:30 am. “Saif Ali Khan was stabbed to death at his house in Bandra by an unknown person and was admitted at 3:30 am. Saif has six stitches and two are deep. One of these is near the spine. He is treated by a team of doctors led by neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, the plastic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain and the anesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi operates,” he said.

Mumbai Police confirmed that an unknown person entered his house and the actor had an argument with them. The actor was injured. The matter is currently under investigation. A senior police official said that the domestic help also sustained minor injuries. DCP Zone 9, Dixit Gedam said, “An unknown person entered the residence of actor Saif Ali Khan.
