It turns out Special forces Co-stars Kayla Nicole And Cam Newton Their paths crossed (at least virtually) before their time in Wales.

Back in April 2022, the now 35-year-old quarterback caused a stir because of his comments about women during an appearance on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast.

“To me, a woman takes care of her own needs but also knows how to respond to a man’s needs. Right?” Newton said. “And I often think when you have the aesthetic, ‘I’m a boss bitch, I’m this, I’m that.’ No, baby! But you don’t know when to be quiet. You don’t know how to let a man take charge.”

Nicole, who was with her Travis Kelce took to Twitter (now known as X) at the time to address the comments.

“The obsession with women being able to cook is really weird. Because it’s like if your palate is so good with a Michelin star chef, then with a dud. I’m pretty sure the average woman is capable of preparing edible food. How do you think she has survived so far?” tweeted the influencer.

Nicole added in a second post: “It’s really not about whether she can cook – it’s more about whether she wants to cook for your hungry hippo ass.”

Nicole further addressed the situation via Instagram Live, which was captured by TMZ Sports: “I think it’s foolish that we have to keep having the same tired conversation about the qualities that make a woman of substance.” This man said, man must be able to cook and be quiet because his mother did that. Then go out with your mom.”

The next day Nicole clarified her statements.

“I don’t have ‘meat’ with anyone. “I have no problem with the idea that a woman’s worth is reduced to what comes on a plate,” she wrote. “This narrative was shared publicly on a podcast, it is important that it is publicly denounced. Now if you’ll all excuse me, I’m going to order Postmates.”

Although Newton didn’t address Nicole directly, he claimed he was unfairly “scrutinized” at the time.

“You can’t expect so much from a person and give so little. … I should have said, in addition to what I have already said and mentioned, that not only should a woman know when to be quiet, but a man should also know when to be quiet,” Newton said in one YouTube video. “Whether it’s about being what you need to be as a human being – a man or a woman – that’s what you should be. And I think it would have cost me not to go deeper like I should have.”

“I have daughters,” he continued. “When the day comes that my daughters look back and say, ‘Damn dad, what did you really mean by that?’, I’m not going to pull back and say, ‘That’s just taken out of context.'”

Newton has eight children, including three daughters, with several different women. Most recently, him and his girlfriend Jasmine Brown gave birth to a baby girl in 2024.

Nicole and Kelce, on the other hand, split for good in 2022 after dating on and off for five years. He started dating Taylor Swift in summer 2023. On Special forcesNicole spoke about the backlash she received from Swift’s fans, but she also complimented the Grammy winner.

“I like, really like her,” Nicole said in the second episode, referring to Swift. “I think she’s very talented.”
