Eagles vs. Ravens: Start time, live stream, odds and more

The Philadelphia Eagles (9-2) are on a seven-game winning streak and are back on the road in Week 13 to face the Baltimore Ravens (8-4) on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.

This game will be a tough battle from the get-go, pitting two of the best running backs in the league against each other. The Ravens leaned heavily on Derrick Henry after signing him this offseason, and it’s been a similar situation for Saquon Barkley since he signed with the Eagles. Barkley and Henry have spent most of their careers trying to outdo each other, but Barkley is having the franchise-best season of his career and has been catapulted into MVP discussions.

AJ Brown has played with both dynamic rushers after starting his career with Henry at Tennessee and admitted last week that he had to reevaluate his RB rankings when Barkley hit the reverse hurdle against the Jaguars. The WR was also seen in last week’s game against the Rams, giving Barkley his flowers after his 72-yard breakout run, setting the franchise single-game rushing record.

It took the Eagles a few weeks to figure out how to best utilize their new weapon, but sticking with the run game paid off in many ways. The offense reliably got things under control in the second half, and it could be that they can wear down the defense for two quarters and then eventually overwhelm them to put the games away.

Baltimore will prove to be a unique challenge for the Eagles’ ground game – if there’s a defense primed to stop the run, it’s the group that faces Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry every day in practice. But fortunately, AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith are always ready to step up and make big plays when needed. Smith missed the Rams game last week with a hamstring injury, but things are trending in the right direction. He could be available Sunday against the Ravens.

The Eagles would be lucky to get Smith back on the field, but they will be without Darius Slay, who is still in the concussion protocol. Vic Fangio’s defense has lost its steam and needs to maintain the same energy and discipline against Jackson and Henry. It will be a battle for 60 minutes, but the Eagles have everything they need to leave Baltimore with a win.

Here’s everything you need to know to watch the game.

History lessons

The Ravens lead the all-time series between these teams at 3-2-1 and have won three of their last four meetings. The last meeting took place in 2020, when Baltimore narrowly won 30-28 in Philly.

These two run-heavy teams have only played twice in the last twelve years, meaning this is the first matchup between Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts. It also means the Eagles haven’t beaten the Ravens in over a decade.

Head coach Nick Sirianni has already made history with several wins this season – the Eagles’ first win in New Orleans since 2007, their first win ever in Cincinnati, their first win in Dallas since 2017. Sirianni previously mentioned that he doesn’t care about stats How these teams care since the season changes every year, so it’s unlikely he’s thinking about a decade-plus drought against the Ravens. But it would be cool for this team to finish another streak.
