A former Cornhusker caused a stir on social media Sunday afternoon. Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt caught an interception for a touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The pick is the defensive back’s sixth career interception and his second NFL touchdown. It’s also his second interception of the season, as he made an impressive one-handed grab to knock off Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes earlier this year.

Taylor-Britt played at Nebraska from 2018 to 2021 and was second team All-Big Ten in 2020 and 2021. During his career at Nebraska, he played in 40 games, recorded 96 tackles and had six interceptions. The Bengals drafted him in the second round (60th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.

According to Jay Morison of Bengals Talk, prior to the result, the Bengals had gone 23 straight games without a defensive touchdown, the second-longest streak in franchise history. Cam Taylor-Britt scored the final defensive touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals last season.

Below are the social media reactions to his highlight catch.
