Five couples danced their way through the finale of “Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday night, completing both a redemption and a freestyle round. One couple then emerged as winners of the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.

All five couples that made it to the semifinals last week surprisingly made it to the finals: NFL wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola with professional dancer Witney Carson, “The Bachelor” contestant Joey Graziadei with pro Jenna Johnson, Disney’s “Zombies” -Actor Chandler Kinney and professional Brandon Armstrong, Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher with professional Alan Bersten and Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik with professional Rylee Arnold.

After the judges’ scores and audience votes were tallied, one couple went home with this year’s Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, named after the legendary head judge who died last April at the age of 78.

The evening was co-hosted by actor Alfonso Ribeiro and dancer Julianne Hough, both of whom have competed and won. And at the judges’ table were ballroom experts Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.

Who won season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars”?

“The Bachelor” star Joey Graziadei and professional player Jenna Johnson won season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars,” marking Johnson’s second Mirrorball Trophy after he won it in season 26 with Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon.

Second place went to Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher and her partner Alan Bersten. Disney’s “Zombies” actor Chandler Kinney and her dance partner Brandon Armstrong took third place.
