Ravens tight end Mark Andrews makes a strong TD grab against the Eagles

BALTIMORE – Tight end Mark Andrews gave the Baltimore Ravens an early 9-0 lead against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday with a record-setting reception.

With 3:49 left in the first quarter, Andrews jumped over Philadelphia safety Reed Blankenship in the end zone for a 14-yard scoring reception. Andrews’ 47th career touchdown tied running back Jamal Lewis for the most touchdowns in franchise history.

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson received excellent defense and went from snap to throw in 5.51 seconds. This was Jackson’s fifth touchdown pass this season with at least five seconds left, which is the most in the NFL.

After the touchdown, Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker’s extra point hit the left upright, continuing his struggles this season. It was Tucker’s second missed extra point this season.
