Taysom Hill was sent off in the fourth quarter by Saints-Rams

The Saints will likely be without Taysom Hill for the remainder of Sunday’s game against the Rams.

Hill was carted off the field late in the fourth quarter of the game. He went down after moving the chains with a run on the fourth and first rounds. He got the ball on a direct snap and went for 2 yards, but was clearly shaken after the play.

According to several reporters at the scene, Hill’s left cleat was removed as he was being loaded onto the cart.

It is officially questionable whether Hill will return due to a knee injury.

Hill competed at quarterback, running back, full back, tight end and receiver during the competition. He rushed five times for 10 yards and caught five passes for 37 yards.

Additionally, Saints left guard Nick Saldiveri went down during Carr’s touchdown pass to Marquez Valdes-Scantling and had to be carried off the field with a knee injury. A return was declared questionable. Landon Young came in to replace him. Safety Tyrann Mathieu also left with a shoulder injury and was questionable to return.

Rams receiver Demarcus Robinson also left the contest with a hand injury and was announced to be questionable to return.

The Rams lead the Saints 21-14 with two minutes left in the fourth quarter.
