Ravens star Kyle Hamilton suffers head injury

Baltimore Ravens star safety Kyle Hamilton suffered a new injury in their Week 13 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

While battling Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert on a route, Hamilton immediately went onto the field in obvious pain. According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Hamilton went straight to the blue medical tent on the sidelines. The Ravens announced shortly afterward that Hamilton was questionable to return while he was evaluated for a concussion.

Hamilton suffered an ankle injury in the win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10, but now he’s dealing with something new. In Week 11, it was discovered that he had suffered a concussion in the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He admitted he was “scared” when he suffered the injury against the Bengals.

“I saw the video; I think he circumcised me. I don’t know,” Hamilton said. “I just felt pain and I was scared at first because I heard everyone talking about how when you have an Achilles tendon (injury) it feels like you’re stepping on it or something like that. So I had – I think – the feeling that I was stepping on his foot, but luckily it was nothing like that.

UPDATE: Hamilton returned to the game after being examined by medical staff in the dressing room.
