Tampa Bay Buccaneers lose two starters due to injury in game against Carolina Panthers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn’t play their best in a game against Carolina that was crucial to their playoff ambitions.

To make matters worse, two defensive starters are out due to injuries.

Inside linebacker KJ Britt suffered an ankle injury early in the game. Although his return was initially considered questionable, it has since been reported that Britt will not be returning to this football game. The severity of the injury remains unknown.

The Bucs have been plagued by injuries in their secondary all season, which is a big reason the team not only opted to bring safety Mike Edwards back but also added him to the starting lineup on Sunday, though he just moved to the Bucs a few weeks ago.

Unfortunately, Edwards had to leave the game against the Panthers due to a hamstring injury. Like Britt, he was also banned from the remainder of the competition.

The Bucs didn’t do themselves any favors in this crucial game against the Carolina Panthers, but these injuries to starters on their defense certainly won’t help their chances of addressing the issues that plague them in this game.
