Saquon Barkley’s game-winning touchdown gives the Eagles the lead in victory over the Ravens

Saquon Barkley caused headaches for the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.

The Philadelphia Eagles managed a third-down conversion with 9:52 to play, and then Barkley got the ball. On the next play, he ran 14 yards. And two plays later, he increased the lead with a 25-yard touchdown run.

The run helped Barkley get closer to the 100-yard mark. He topped it on the Eagles’ next drive.

Baltimore scored a touchdown with three seconds left. Ultimately, Philadelphia won the game 24:19, earning its tenth win of the season.

Barkley’s MVP season continued. He had 107 rushing yards on 23 carries. He also had two catches on four targets for 10 yards. It was the third straight game in which he ran for at least 100 yards, and it was the sixth time in the last seven games that he ran for 100 yards.

Jalen Hurts reached

Jalen Hurts was 11 of 18 for 118 yards and a touchdown pass to Dallas Goedert. He had 29 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.

The Ravens were never able to shake their nerves after the first quarter. Baltimore had a 9-0 lead early in the game after a 14-yard touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson to Mark Andrews. But they only scored one more field goal before halftime and a trash-time touchdown for Isaiah Likely.

Tucker’s field goal woes continued into the game. After Andrews’ touchdown, he missed an extra point. He was 2 of 4 on field goal attempts.

Jackson was 23 of 36 for 237 yards and two touchdown passes. He also had 79 yards on the ground.

Philadelphia celebrated its tenth win of the season. Baltimore fell to 8-5.
