After winning just one of their last five games, the Los Angeles Lakers cruised to a 105-104 victory over the Utah Jazz on Sunday night.

The Lakers used a huge third quarter from stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James to provide some separation in the final period, but Utah managed to close things out late. Ultimately, Los Angeles was able to prevent the lead from being squandered as the Jazz failed to get a last-second shot attempt.

Davis finished the season with 33 points and 11 points, continuing his MVP-level season. James scored 27 points and 14 assists, continuing to show that his court vision seems to improve with age.

After the win, fans praised Davis and James for getting the win.

The Lakers looked like championship contenders early this season after starting the year 10-4, but they have shown their weaknesses in recent weeks. They picked up a tough win on Sunday to improve to 12-8, now they’ll look to continue to build momentum.
