Aaron Gordon was allowed to play after missing ten games with a calf injury

Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon was cleared to play with the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night after missing 10 games with a right calf strain.

Gordon, 29, was upgraded from out to doubtful on the team’s injury report Saturday. His fitness to play was subsequently classified as questionable again on Sunday morning.

He remains out of the Nuggets’ starting lineup while Peyton Watson continued to fill his role in Los Angeles.

On November 4, Gordon walked to the locker room under his own power during a timeout in the first quarter during Denver’s home game against the Raptors. He didn’t return. The power forward was already struggling with a calf infection at the start of the game.
