Juan Soto has reportedly received offers from five free agency teams

Juan Soto’s free agency continues to dominate the rest of the market as teams await the 26-year-old’s seismic decision. Several teams have reportedly already made offers for Soto after meeting with the outfielder and his agent Scott Boras.

After meeting with teams last week, MLB Network’s Jon Morosi confirmed a report from Randy Miller of NJ.com that said five teams had made offers for Soto’s services. These teams include the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays.

It could take Soto a while to make his decision, and it’s also possible that these teams send improved offers to outbid each other. Other teams could also take part and submit their own offers. It has been reported that Soto’s upcoming deal could eclipse $700 million. It could also include deferred funds, similar to the deal Shohei Ohtani signed with the Dodgers in December 2023.

Last season, Soto had a career year with the New York Yankees, where he hit 41 home runs and posted an OPS of .989. It’s still possible he rejoins the organization and stays in the Bronx, where he and Aaron Judge could be a dynamic duo for the foreseeable future.
