UPDATE 1:30 p.m. – Students providing images to BocaNewsNow.com say the school is now in “Code Yellow.” Police confirm officers are conducting a “final raid”.

UPDATE: 1:13 p.m. – The Palm Beach County School District is currently sending this message to parents: “Please read the second message sent to Boca Raton Community High School families regarding… unconfirmed, anonymous threat made into campus: Boca Raton High School Families and Staff: The school remains on lockdown due to an anonymous, unconfirmed threat to the campus. All students and staff remain safe. School police and Boca Raton police are currently on scene and investigating. Again, there is no proven threat to the campus. Families, please do not come to campus at this time. We will continue to keep you updated.

UPDATE: 1:06 p.m. – Boca Raton police still appear to be finding nothing at the crime scene at Boca High as what they are now calling a “precautionary search” of the school continues. Information we are receiving indicates that someone likely accidentally triggered the school district’s panic alarm. Every teacher has a panic button. The system can also be triggered via app.

UPDATE: 12:50 p.m. – According to police on scene, nothing has been found yet. BocaNewsNow.com has received NO information from parents who have communicated with their students that anything actually “happened” that led to the lockdown and massive police response.

UPDATE: 12:46 p.m. – The Palm Beach County School District released this statement to BocaNewsNow.com: See more information below unconfirmed, anonymous Threat against Boca Raton Community High Schooll. The following message was sent to families at the school: Boca Raton High School families and staff. The school is currently on lockdown due to an anonymous report of a threat to campus. School police and Boca Raton police are currently investigating. There is no proven threat to the campus. Please do not come to campus at this time. We will continue to keep you updated.

UPDATE: 12:43 p.m. – Parents wishing to respond are asked to RSVP to 3200 Airport Road, Cinemark. To be clear, we don’t know why parents are being asked to respond. Police have not updated their report that nothing was found.

UPDATE: 12:35 p.m. – Police now say they found nothing suspicious at the school. A “SaferWatch” activation triggered the emergency response. This could mean that a teacher or staff member accidentally activated an alert. The Palm Beach County School District did not respond to requests for information.

UPDATE: 12:32 p.m. – We are still waiting for an official statement from the Boca Raton Police Department.

UPDATE: 12:25 p.m. – Boca Police confirm there is a crime scene but will not comment further. Sources said several paramedics are stationed near the school. The police are on site and are trying to assess what is happening. Parents tell BocaNewsNow.com report that their children should stay calm where they are.
