A social media post Monday morning said former Auburn Tigers head coach Bryan Harsin tainted his program following the Iron Bowl loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The social media post was made on Harsin’s account and appeared to show an image of the former Auburn head coach wearing an Alabama “LANK” jersey following the Crimson Tide’s 28-14 victory over the Tigers.

Harsin was the former head coach at Auburn during the 2021-22 season and was fired by the Tigers midway through the 2022 season. As head coach of the Auburn program, Harsin compiled an overall record of 9-12 and lost his only home game in the Iron Bowl against Alabama in 2021 by a final score of 24-22 in four overtimes.

Harsin did not coach at the 2022 Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa as he was fired as head coach at Auburn before that season’s game and Cadillac Williams served as interim coach.
