Sevilla struggled for consistency Garcia Pimientais the first season as manager in which he has won five of his 14 league games, drawn three and lost six.

They started November with consecutive defeats against Real Sociedad and Leganes before getting back on track with a win in their final game against Rayo Vallecano at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

midfielder Djibril Sau scored his first goal of the season and led Sevilla to a 1-0 win. The result was the first home win against Rayo since August 2021.

With this win, Sevilla have now won four of their last five home games and have kept clean sheets in three of those wins.

The Andalusians will have home advantage again in Monday’s game, but reaching the top score may be easier said than done after failing to win any of their last five meetings with Osasuna.

The first goal could be crucial if Sevilla are to take anything from this game, having lost six of the seven league games in which they conceded the first goal this season.

After finishing 11th last season, Osasuna appear to have European qualification in their sights after recording six wins, four draws and four defeats in their 14 league games this season.

However, their European push has lost some momentum in the last two games as they have only picked up one point in the last two games.

Osasuna suffered a heavy 4-0 away defeat in an away game against Real Madrid before surrendering a two-goal lead to a 2-2 draw in their most recent home game against Villarreal.

Los Rojillos appeared ready to sweep past the yellow submarine when Ante Budimir scored a brace in the first half, but the Yellow Submarine scored in the 67th and 93rd minutes to prevent Osasuna from claiming their sixth home win of the season.

While a win against Villarreal may have eluded them, Osasuna have still relied heavily on their home form this season, collecting 17 of their 22 points in eight games at El Sadar.

Osasuna may have only won one of their six away league games this season, but they have at least managed to avoid defeat in three of their last four away games in La Liga.

They can also take inspiration from the fact that they have picked up four points in their last two visits to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

We say: Sevilla – Osasuna 2:1

Sevilla may be four points behind Osasuna, but they tend to save their best performances for Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, while Osasuna can sometimes struggle away from home, and with that in mind we believe the hosts will do enough to secure a narrow win .
