Southwest’s Cyber Monday sale is here with 30% off flights across the US, including Hawaii

Southwest Airlines is offering up to 30 percent off flights across the country and beyond for Cyber Monday, allowing travelers to plan their 2025 trips in advance.

The sale, which must be booked by December 5th, is available for travel throughout the continental United States from January 7th, 2025 through March 5th, 2025 and on certain weekdays to Hawaii, Puerto Rico and International Destinations from January 7th 2025 through March 22, 2025, Southwest said Travel + leisure. To book, customers must use the promo code “CYBERSALE” on Southwest’s website.

“Fire up your browsers because our Cyber Sale is underway,” Southwest wrote in a Facebook post about the sale. “No checkout lines, just Cyber Rif deals for 2025 getaways.”

The sale is not valid on several blackout dates, including Sundays, as well as January 2nd, January 4th, January 5th, February 13th, February 14th and February 17th, when flights within the continental US are also blocked international destinations, Hawaii and Puerto Rico on outbound flights February 13 to 16 and March 7 to April 19 and return flights February 21 to February 23 and from March 14th to April 27th.

Sales discount applies to the base rate and does not include discount on government taxes and fees.

The promotion can be used for the “Wanna Get Away” and “Wanna Get Away Plus” fares (one-way or round-trip).

The sale comes ahead of Southwest’s plans to end its longstanding open seating policy and instead offer assigned seating and introduce premium seats with extra legroom. The airline will also introduce its first Red Eye night flights next year.

This also follows the airline’s decision to begin landing operations at a higher altitude to “reduce the risk of injury from in-flight turbulence.” Starting December 4, flight attendants will begin preparing the cabin for landing at 18,000 feet instead of the current 10,000 feet.
