Izzy, a Birmingham native, didn’t fall into the role of “soccer wife” by accident. She was an athlete herself, spent 14 years as a gymnast before trading in her leotard for pompoms at Auburn. The rigors of gymnastics taught her sacrifice and dedication, qualities that undoubtedly helped her along the way She was in a relationship with a man whose life was often dictated by the whims of the college football schedule.

How long have Bo Nix and Izzy been together?

When Bo and Izzy met in June 2020, it didn’t take long for the spark to fly. Their love story grew alongside Bo’s college career, which was filled with the ups and downs that only college football can bring. Izzy came to him after graduating from Auburnand together they embraced their new community. She may have traded in her Auburn orange and blue for Oregon green and yellow, but her support for Bo remained unwavering. ““It was definitely a difficult transition coming here,” Izzy admitted“But when we got engaged, I knew we could live anywhere.”

In 2024 they were moving again when Bo was selected 12th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft the Denver Broncoswho named him the first rookie starting quarterback since 1983.
