The former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback struggles as the Browns attack the Broncos’ secondary

Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Levi Wallace struggled in Monday’s game against the Cleveland Browns as the Denver Broncos tried to slow down Jameis Winston and a now-potent passing attack. In a revenge play, former Broncos and current Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy punted on the Broncos, including Wallace, for a 70-yard touchdown.

Wallace is playing because Broncos cornerback Riley Moss is out with a knee injury. Still, he was teased and mostly pitted against Jeudy, who toasted Wallace. Meanwhile, Wallace also allowed a 43-yard catch to Elijah Moore.

Wallace played for the Steelers for two seasons but was benched midway through last season after struggling with Joey Porter Jr. On the day, Jeudy received over 200 receiving yards, with many of those yards coming against Wallace.

The Steelers let Wallace walk this offseason and traded Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers for Donte Jackson. Jackson has a team-high five interceptions and is an improvement over Wallace from last season.
