Levi Wallace #39 of the Denver Broncos takes on the New Orleans Saints.

The Denver Broncos got everything they could from the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland put up more points than any opponent since the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.

They entered the contest without starting cornerback Riley Moss, and his absence was obvious.

Veteran Levi Wallace started in place of Moss and was a frequent target of the Browns and former Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. It got to the point where some fans demanded that the Broncos cut Wallace in the eventual win.

“Levi Wallace should be fired immediately after the game” Zack Kelberman from Mile High Huddle posted on X during the competition.

Levi Wallace was expected to miss immediately after the game.

According to Pro Football Focus, Wallace was targeted nine times and allowed six receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown with just under nine minutes left in the fourth quarter.

“Get Levi Wallace off the field now,” the Mile High Report X-Handle read.

According to PFF, Wallace entered the contest having allowed 13 of the 17 targets thrown his way to be accomplished.

“I’m not trying to overreact, but Levi Wallace should be in jail,” Denver Broncos 365 posted.

The Broncos signed Wallace to a one-year, $2.9 million contract in the 2024 offseason, and he has earned $11.8 million in his career. But Wallace, a former undrafted free agent, is now on his third team in the last four seasons and this has been a polarizing season for him.

The Broncos’ defensive coordinator benched Wallace and replaced him with rookie fifth-round pick Kris Abrams-Draine in the fourth quarter. Abrams-Draine took the lead as the Broncos defense took the field with a 34-32 lead with less than three minutes left.

Pro Football Focus rates the 2024 season as Wallace’s best season since 2020, when he played with the Buffalo Bills.

According to Pro Football Reference, he had never allowed a completion percentage higher than 65.7% in his career.

Wallace had allowed a completion percentage of 58% or lower in four straight seasons with the Broncos prior to the 2024 season. If fans have their say, he might not finish the remaining five games.

“Levi Wallace is no longer allowed to play corner for my team” This was posted by Brandon Perna of Good Sports.

Abrams-Draine was thrown into the mix. He quickly found himself in the Browns’ sights, giving Elijah Moore a big lead. He was later also charged with passport interference. Luckily for Abrams-Draine, Wallace and the Broncos, Cody Barton got a crucial interception.

Jeudy’s day was anything but surprising. In an interview published Nov. 29, former No. 15 overall pick Jeudy told Tony Grossi of TheLandOnDemand.com that he wanted to “beat their ass” when asked about his feelings about returning home.

Jeudy lamented the way he was used by the Broncos, saying he was a better player than they gave him credit for.

He caught everyone’s attention all night long.

“Tonight, Jerry Jeudy hit nearly 8% of the yardage he did during his entire four-year run in Denver and there are nine minutes left.” Brett Kollmann from Underdog Fantasy posted on X during the game.

“Since Jameis Winston took over in Week 8, Jerry Jeudy now leads the NFL in receiving yards (581), even though the Browns had a bye in Week 10.” Ian Hartitz from Fantasy Life posted.
