Sean Hannity hosts the monthly long-form interview program on Fox Nation

Sean Hannity may want to follow the path taken by Larry King in the past and, more recently, by his former colleague Chris Wallace.

The longtime Fox News opinion host will debut a new long-form monthly interview show on Fox Nation, the subscription-based streaming provider that is a sister company to cable news network Fox Corp. is. “In “Sean,” Hannity will conduct in-depth sit-down interviews with a variety of guests from the world of sports, entertainment and politics,” Fox News said in a statement.

“Throughout my career, I have had the honor of meeting the most interesting people in the world. It is often the struggles and obstacles they have overcome that fascinate them most,” Hannity said in a statement. “I look forward to sharing these conversations with Fox Nation viewers.”

Personal contact with celebrities and personalities has served as the format for a number of cable news programs, including Larry King’s long-running CNN show; a short-lived effort on MSNBC led by Alec Baldwin; and most recently a program by veteran journalist Chris Wallace – formerly of Fox News – that appeared on both CNN and Max, the streaming provider owned by parent company Warner Bros. Discovery.
