Kendrick Lamar, SZA Grand National Tour, makes a stop at Gillette Stadium

The “Grand National Tour” is just the latest gift for Lamar fans this holiday season, as the Grammy-winning hip-hop star recently released his new surprise album “GNX” on November 22nd. Meanwhile, SZA has teased releasing her next album, “Lana,” before the end of 2024, although an official release date has not yet been announced.

SZA also appears on two songs from Lamar’s latest album, the track “Luther” and the record’s closing track, “Gloria.” “GNX” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while “Luther” debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Lamar and SZA previously toured together for Top Dawg Entertainment’s “The Championship Tour” in 2018, which also featured ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, SIR and Ab-Soul. That same year, Lamar and SZA also collaborated on their hit single “All The Stars” from the “Black Panther” soundtrack.

Lamar most recently performed in the Boston area on his Big Steppers Tour, stopping at TD Garden in August 2022. SZA also performed on her “SOS Tour” at TD Garden in February and September 2023.

In addition to Lamar and SZA, Gillette Stadium will host an extensive lineup of music stars next year, including legendary Australian rock band AC/DC on May 4th, Grammy winner Post Malone on May 31st and British rock band Coldplay on July 15th .

Tickets for Lamar and SZA’s Grand National Tour go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m., while general sales begin at 10 a.m. Friday at grandnationaltour.com.
