Thought you’d be frustrated with a seat assignment? A United Airlines passenger had to be restrained by his fellow passengers after he began attacking his air chair mid-flight, as seen in a bizarre Reddit video that started online.

The epic seatA crash reportedly occurred on November 16 aboard UA Flight 502 from Austin to Los Angeles, South West News Service reported.

Fellow passenger Gino Galofaro, who filmed the wild incident, claimed he woke up just under an hour after landing at LAX and saw the unidentified passenger “kicking the seat.”

In the footage, the devil, wearing a hoodie and sweatpants, can be seen standing on his reclining seat and stomping on it repeatedly as bystanders look on in shock.

At first no one tried to intervene. “The flight attendant came by a few times, no one did anything,” recalled Galofaro, who finally decided to put an end to the senseless rampage.

The San Diego-based addiction counselor said he and two other passengers “zip-tied” the offender’s hands and feet and “secured him to the seat with seat belts.”

Upon arrival, the troublemaker was met by the police.

“Local law enforcement met United Flight 502 upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport after a customer became disruptive,” a United Airlines spokesperson said. “We would like to thank our crew for helping to manage the situation and working to ensure the safety of everyone on board.”

They added that they subsequently “banned” this customer from future United flights.

Galofaro, meanwhile, said he hopes to contact the perpetrator’s family to see if he can offer help.

Reddit commenters had a lot of fun with the incident.

The original poster joked that the man was “testing out the new reclining seats in United Economy.”

“There was a screaming child in the seat behind him,” joked a third. “Now the child is calm.”
