Memphis’ Jeremy Beloate advances to the Season 26 finale

Memphis native Jeremy Beloate’s appearance on “The Voice” continues.

During the NBC singing competition results show on Tuesday, it was announced that Beloate was one of the contestants voted by the public to advance to the finale.

Beloate – a member of Snoop Dogg’s team – will be among five contestants who will compete to determine the winner of Season 26 of “The Voice.” The other finalists are Sofronio Vasquez, Sydney Sterlace, Shye and Danny Joseph, who received the instant save on Tuesday.

The final two episodes of “The Voice” will air on NBCon on December 9th and 10th (the shows will also stream the next day on Peacock).

After being named a finalist, Beloate received a warm hug from Snoop Dogg, who was visibly touched by his accomplishments.

On Monday, Beloate performed a rendition of the Tom Jones classic “I (Who Have Nothing),” which received a standing ovation from all four judges.

Gwen Stefani praised him as a “rare” singer. “There is nothing, no one like you. It’s almost like you’re too good to sing songs,” she said.

He was also paired with Team Bublé participant Sofronio Vasque on Mondaye.g for a performance of “Every Breath You Take” by The Police. They were joined by original songwriter and singer Sting, who played bass during the performance and served as the show’s mega-mentor.
