I’m going to Boston, yay, yay.

The last time these two teams met, the Wings narrowly lost. Unfortunately, this Bruins team appears to be turning things around following the firing of Jim Montgomery. It’s safe to say that I’m not particularly confident that this will go Detroit’s way. We’ll see. Anything can happen, right? Heh.

In other news, it appears Sebastian Cossa will make his first career NHL start sometime in the coming days, although that won’t be tonight. According to HSJCam Talbot is out for at least this road trip and Alex Lyon will be out for a bit longer. So now it’s all about the Husso-Cossa tandem. Patrick Kane is still not in the squad but there is belief he could be back in the squad as early as Thursday.

I think if the Red Wings can come out and play like they did against Vancouver, they could steal this game from Boston. I won’t hold my breath because consistency hasn’t really been this team’s calling card. As a reminder, this is an ESPN+ broadcast.
