CARRBORO, NC— The City Council of Carrboro, North Carolina, will hold a press conference at Carrboro City Hall on Wednesday to announce a comprehensive legislative action to address the climate emergency.

Experts expect the trend toward more extreme weather, including higher temperatures and stronger storms, to increase across the region in the coming years.
