Why a 4-star recruit chose Seminoles

Florida State Seminole secured their biggest flip of the day, stealing four-star running back Ousmane Kromah from the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday.

Kromah was FSU’s top running back target for most of the cycle and they were the first school to offer him a scholarship. Over time, however, they faded and the Leesburg, Georgia native committed to the Bulldogs in October.

Head coach Mike Norvell and running backs coach David Johnson never stopped working on him, and he returned for multiple visits in November.

Kromah is the No. 73 player overall and No. 4 running back in the 247Sports composite rankings. He is also the No. 10 player from Georgia.

He is FSU’s only running back and its second-highest ranked player, behind only five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas. The Seminoles have now signed 18 players.

Kromah had a monster senior season, carrying the ball 152 times for 1,290 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also caught 31 passes for 693 yards and eight touchdowns.
