While Friends Audiences may think of the 1996 episode in which Isabella Rossellini guest-starred as “The One With Isabella Rossellini,” although the film star initially feared he wouldn’t even recognize her.

“I was surprised because back then – maybe even now, but maybe to a lesser extent then – there weren’t many foreign actors recognized in America,” the Italian actress said Weekly entertainment in a recent interview about her latest film, conclave. “And that really surprised me Friends invited me, not only as a guest, but also as a star. Rossellini played a role in the gang’s story by naming the celebrities they would most like to sleep with. She was on Ross’s (David Schwimmer) list, but was later removed because she was often out of the country. The overthinking Ross traded her name for someone he would more likely meet in New York City. So of course he met Rossellini in person at Central Perk on the third season of “The One With Frank Jr.”

Ross regrets his decision to replace Rossellini, while his girlfriend Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and sister Monica (Courteney Cox) laugh at the idea that the only reason he doesn’t love her is because she’s not on his list stands. Rachel finally makes a special exception for the star of the films Blue velvet And Death suits her.
