The 29-year-old Bachelor and his partner Jenna Johnson beat former NFL pros Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, actresses Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Olympic rugby players Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, and Olympic gymnasts Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold to win Dancing with the stars Season 33 on Tuesday, November 26th. Joey, who got engaged to Kelsey Anderson in the finale of his film Bachelor season, told PEOPLE that he had big — and drunken — plans to celebrate his win.

“I got a really nice bottle of Patron and we’re going to get a little drunk,” he said. “I’ll be honest, it’s been a while.”

PEOPLE was in the ballroom as host Alfonso Ribeiro crowned Joey and Jenna the winners — and here’s what went down behind the scenes on the busy finale night:

• Right after Joey and Jenna received the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy from Season 32 champions Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy (Jenna’s husband!), Joey’s fiancée Kelsey, 26, made her way after taking photos of her had Good morning America and did not conduct any interviews. However, Joey also had other Bachelor Nation supporters on hand, like Tanner Courtad from Charity Lawson’s season and Jason Tartick.
• Val celebrated his wife’s epic win and continued to hug and kiss Jenna after the results were announced.
• All eliminated couples stayed behind to congratulate the top five contestants.

• Rylee, 19, opted out of most interviews and was very emotional. However, she was supported by her entire family, who stayed behind to support her and Stephen. Her boyfriend, Walker Lyons, spent a lot of time playing with Rylee’s niece Sage, 4, and nephew Samuel, 16 months. Her mother is Rylee’s sister and companion DWTS Professional Lindsay Arnold. Rylee and Stephen, 26, set off after speaking with them Good morning America.

• Jenn, 27, and Sasha, 40, also stuck together throughout the night, but they still didn’t do as much flirty touching as Brooks and Gleb Bachelorette alum previously mentioned that she may move in with the dance pro in Los Angeles.
• Jonathan Johnson of Jenn’s Bachelorette Staffel was back in the audience and immediately went to hug her and Sasha after the show.
