Flavor Flav removes Christmas tree lights at Rockefeller Center

Flavor Flav’s holiday season isn’t off to a great start, as the Public Enemy rapper reportedly had a strange experience at the Christmas tree lighting at Rockefeller Center in New York City on Wednesday (December 4).

On Wednesday, the veteran MC went to X and told him that he was kicked out of the Backstreet Boys’ dressing room at the event, despite being “escorted” to see them.

In a now-deleted post, he wrote: “I’m feeling weird, I was invited to the Rockefeller Tree Lighting tonight and was accompanied to my boys, THE BACKSTREET BOYS, and we were in their dressing room backstage.” Room,,, security came up to me and said @nbc doesn’t want me in that area and I have to leave.”

The “Flavor of Love” star later described a confusing situation, adding that even though he was asked to leave, a “social media woman” still took a photo to capture the moment between Flav and the group.

He added in the post: “At the same time, her social media wife came and asked to capture social content. What have I ever done to NBC or anyone? I always just try to spread joy and love and I think I did that for NBC at the Olympics.”

He later wrote on X“my spirit is broken.”

If you don’t remember, Flav was one of the many celebrities who supported Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics over the summer. especially the water polo team.

In May, team captain Maggie Steffans shared on social media that she and her teammates would need more financial support to achieve their Olympic goals, and that many of them work day jobs and rely on sponsors to finance the entire trip.

Flav stepped forward and sponsored the entire team and also became their official hype man, attending all of their games.
