Bad Bunny begins the Christmas season with an all too understandable feeling of longing. On Thursday, the Puerto Rican superstar released the video for “El Clúb,” in which he reflects on an ex-partner. In it he also teases a possible new project in the new year.

The Stillz-directed video begins with Bad Bunny entering a crowded club in a fur coat, before a visual glitch showing his reality: the singer in bed wondering, “What could my ex do?” and “Is she over me?” while scrolling on his phone. The video then switches to a series of shifting, almost psychedelic clips, including newborns having the word “middle class” stamped on their foreheads and Bad Bunny making out with himself.

The video then fast forwards to Benito walking away from a burning house with a box full of belongings before wandering through a green field and finding a place to bury the memories under a full moon. He then places a Puerto Rican flag in place. The video ends with Bad Bunny walking to the 15th floor of a building and the letters “DTmF” and “2025” appear on the screen, which automatically led fans to assume that these were the initials of his upcoming album could act.

“El Clúb” was produced by MAG and La Paciencia together with Spanish producer Saox.

Earlier this week, Bad Bunny appeared to announce the new song in an Instagram carousel that featured dominoes and a güiro — a Puerto Rican instrument — hanging from a Christmas tree. Playing the video appeared to be a snippet of the song as he sang, “Dos de la mañana en el club, todo el mundo pasándola cabrón.” (“Two in the morning in the club, everyone’s having fun” in English.)

“El Clúb” marks Bad Bunny’s second single release since then Nadie Sabe Lo Que va Pasar Mañanawhich earned him a Grammy nomination in the “Best Música Urban Album” category at the 2025 Grammys. The LP song “Perro Negro,” featuring Feid, also won best reggaeton performance at the Latin Grammys last month.

Earlier this year, Bad Bunny released the single “Una Velita,” inspired by the devastation of Hurricane Maria, as well as collaborations with Myke Towers on “Adivino” and Rauw Alejandro Cosa Nuestrais “Qué Pasaria”.
