Cold air is coming. So close to Boston. ACTUALLY WE HAVE SOME SNOWFALL NEAR THE CITY, BUT A LOT OF IT SNOWED ALMOST AT CONTACT. And then things really started to get uphill as we climbed towards the west. And this is where we’ve seen some of our highest totals. But it was very different. I mean, Pepperell picked up a couple of inches of snow, but then when you headed out to Petersham and Orange, we had seven to five inches of snow. There are six inches of snow in Royalston. MANY OF THESE PLACES HAVE Elevation. THAT REALLY INCREASED THE OVERALL NUMBERS. So you know you’re ONLY 2.5 INCHES LEFT FROM WESTBOROUGH BUT ELEVATED AGAIN TO WORCESTER AIRPORT. We had 6.6 inches of snow. AND DOWN HERE, FROM SPENCER TO STURBRIDGE, MAXIMUM AMOUNTS OF SNOW OF ABOUT 20 INCHES IN THE SOUTH. The cold air has, so to speak, penetrated here. So Bridgewater got an inch of snow, but most of it has already melted. AND AS YOU GO WEST IT STOP UNTIL YOU GET OVER AUBURN WHERE WE PICK IT UP AGAIN. So it really depends a lot on where you lived and how high up you were. There’s not much going on out there at the moment. WE’RE SEEING A FEW LAKE EFFECT SNOW FROM THE GREAT LAKES MAKE IT UP TO THE BERKSHIRES SO THERE MAY BE A LITTLE QUIET ACTIVITY OUT THERE THIS EVENING. TEMPERATURES ARE LOWERING TONIGHT, BUT NOT SO DRAMATIC. The reason it feels so cold is this 21 degree wind from the west blowing up to 41 degrees. It makes it feel like it’s 25 degrees outside, and that wind will still be with us tonight. This is what will greet you tomorrow morning. Wind gusts are still hovering around 30 to 40 mph, they will ease as the day goes on, but it’s still a pretty windy day for us. AND THEN ON SATURDAY LESS WIND, IT WILL FEEL A LITTLE WARMER. Temperatures will still be cold, but with this wind it won’t feel quite as bad as it is. So tomorrow morning, if you get up at six in the morning, the wind will be cool in some places. ONE DIGITS. MANY OF US WILL FEEL LIKE THE TIMES OF YOUTH. It gets a little better as the day goes on, but you get what I mean. Find the mittens. YOU WILL NEED THEM FOR TOMORROW. IN ORDER. TONIGHT clear skies, windy and cold. 20 to 28. BUT the wind chill makes it feel like it’s 5 to 15. And there will be lots of sunshine tomorrow, but it’s windy and with that wind it’s cold. CHILL BACK TO THE TEENS. WE WILL SEE. The maximum temperatures tomorrow will be 28 to 34 degrees. In other words: temperatures will not rise much tomorrow. So the snow gun is gone. The cold and windy weather with us tomorrow. The cold will continue, but the wind will die down on Saturday and then we’ll see some warm air move in on Sunday as that warm air moves in. There’s a chance we could see a little snow or a little rain. The best opportunities may lie north of the Mass Pike. And finally this milder air moves in. Therefore, the next rainfall is more likely to come in the form of rain. YOU CAN SEE WHAT WE’RE TALKING ABOUT. ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY IT IS BELOW AVERAGE. On Sunday we are close to average and then above average. We head out with temperatures in the 50s. WE LOOK AHEAD AND Speaking of warm temperatures, here’s the outlook from 8 to 14. Two weeks later. This is just before Christmas and temperatures appear to be warmer than average across most of the country. Actually quite hot over the central plains. IN ORDER. TOMORROW IT WILL BE COLD AND WINDY 32 DEGREES. YOUR SATURDAY. LESS WIND BUT STILL COLD, ESPECIALLY IN THE MORNING. AND THEN WARMER AIR WILL COME IN ON SUNDAY WHICH WILL GIVE US A CHANCE FOR THERE TO BE SOME SPRAYING OR BARRIER. MONDAY. THERE COULD BE SOME SHOWERS BUT ONLY AT NIGHT. IT WILL BE COMPLETED BY TUESDAY AND THEN WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. This is our best chance of seeing some rain, but it will be rain. Check out those temperatures reaching into the mid 50s. SO ED GREAT RANGE. I’m looking forward to a white Christmas. WAIT. HOLD ONTO. YOU HAVE
