Steve Kerr reveals the latest update on Steph Curry’s injury

The Golden State Warriors need good news if the worst comes to the worst. In addition to losing five straight games, the team has also struggled with injuries to Steph Curry and Draymond Green.

Luckily for Warriors fans, head coach Steve Kerr announced some positive news about Curry. However, there was some good news to go along with some bad news. Kerr revealed that Curry has tendonitis in both knees and is playing with pain in his knees. The team’s coaching staff is supporting Curry through the injury so the injury doesn’t become a bigger problem down the road.

On the bright side, Kerr revealed that Steph Curry is scheduled to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves tomorrow and that it’s “possible” that Draymond Green could also play.

The Golden State Warriors will face the red-hot Houston Rockets tonight without Curry and Green. It would be a huge morale boost if the team found a way to beat Houston, but it won’t get any easier against the Timberwolves on Friday.

In four games without Curry this season, the Warriors have a surprising 3-1 record. However, the team is in a very different mental state today than it was in October when his first injury occurred.

The Golden State Warriors face the Houston Rockets tonight at 10:00 PM EST.
