Freezing temperatures are possible for Acadiana tomorrow morning

Overnight temperatures will fall into the low 30s across most of Acadiana, with northern communities possibly seeing temperatures dip into the upper 20s in some cases. This has resulted in a freeze warning. Protect your pets and plants. Pipes shouldn’t be a problem since it’s not a prolonged hard freeze.

It will be even colder tomorrow morning. Thanks to the strong northerly winds, the cool wind will bring our temperatures above 20°C. Bundle! Temperatures will remain low and cold throughout the day, with highs expected to only be around 55°F. We trade the rain for the cold air and take a little break without the rain to enjoy it, but only for a short time.

A look at our weekend:
There will be showers earlier in the day on Saturday, with a 40% chance of rain, but these may clear later in the afternoon and then return into the late night hours. However, details of the time and location cannot be pinpointed, especially for those interested in the big game. Planning for rain is a fair bet. It will be another cool/cold day with a high near 58 and lows in the 40s.
There will be more rain on Sunday with some warming up. The high is expected to be in the upper 60s/low 70s while the low will fall into the 50s. This warmer air mass sets us up for another rain event early this week.
